Cross Lake - Cross Lake is on the Northwest side of Shreveport. Is is a clean man-made lake with great skiing and fishing. My wife and I caught two 6 pound bass from this lake one icy January morning. Along Cross Lake's banks is beautiful prime real estate . Lots of development has been going on around Cross Lake for the past several years.

Lake Bistineau - Lake Bistineau is located about 15 miles southeast of Shreveport Bossier City. It is home to countless numbers of beautiful cypress trees and Louisiana wildlife. In my opinion this lake has it all. If you're looking for skiing and watersports there are plenty of open areas for such activity. If you're looking to catch a champion bass there's lots of that type of fishing around the wooded areas and near the banks. Scattered along the lake are a number of decks to park your boat and have a picnic on the water.

Lake Claiborne - Lake Claiborne is about 40 miles east of Shreveport down Interstate 20. This lake is probably most famous for it's camping and cabin rentals. Time and time again the cabin rentals on this lake have been voted #1. My wife and I rented one of these cabins over the summer, and were very pleased with the cleanliness and high value of the rental.
